Edge Of Eternity

Edge of Eternity’s Gameplay Preview Introduces The World, Characters and More

Are you clamouring for a traditional JRPG that might tide you over this summer? Look no further than Edge of Eternity which is from indie developer Midgar Studio and publisher Dear Villagers.

In a new eight-minute trailer, the main character’s voice actor is revealed (Micah Solusod), we get a glimpse of the world, the characters and all the adventures you’ll embark on in the world of Heryon. The trailer does a great job at showcasing the work of indie developer Midgar Studio, who recruited famed composer Yasunori Mitsuda to score the soundtrack after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

“Making a JRPG as a small indie studio is, obviously, a huge undertaking,” said Jeremy Zeler, founder of Midgar Studios. “I’m so grateful to all the people in the community who’ve helped make this crazy dream a reality. Everyone on the team is excited for the launch. It’s going to be epic!”

Edge of Eternity will release in full on PC on June 8th with both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions planned. Midgar Studios says a Game Pass version is planned in Q4 2021.
