Toronto-based developer Cococucumber has announced that Echo Generation is coming next month.
Echo Generations expands on the design philosophy of the studio’s prior title and wraps it around a more personal story of two young Canadian kids. Cococucumber’s game is centered on a brother and sister who begin investigating supernatural events within their small town. Set in the summer of 1993, the duo discovers strange and ominous creatures within their hometown.
I’m excited to see another local developer working on a new project, and given Echo Generation is a turn-based RPG, this is right up my alley.
Echo Generation will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Windows Store on October 21, 2021.
