EA Releases Classic PC Titles to Steam

Command and ConquePopulous, Dungeon Keeper, The Saboteur and more

Electronic Arts is looking to the past and pulling several titles from its back catalogue to add to Steam. Today, the publisher launched several titles on PC, available at a discount.

The list includes iconic titles like Command & Conquer – The Ultimate Collection and The Saboteur.

Previously, you needed to download the EA App (formerly Origin); we don’t do that here. So, hearing that EA is supporting Steam by adding more titles is pretty exciting. For those with a Steam Deck, that’s one less hurdle to play some of your favourite games on a handheld.

The complete list of EA Classic includes:

  • Command & Conquer – The Ultimate Collection
  • SimCity 3000 Unlimited
  • Populous
  • Populous 2: Trials of the Olympic Gods
  • Populous: The Beginning
  • Dungeon Keeper Gold
  • Dungeon Keeper 2
  • Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack
  • The Saboteur

These titles are available on GOG except for the Command & Conquer – The Ultimate Edition.

Overall, this is an excellent start to supporting its back catalogue, and now the only questions I have are what games are coming next and where is The Sims 2?
