If you’re like me, nothing these days is too clean or sanitary thanks to the ongoing pandemic that’s essentially made hand sanitizer a staple when doing pretty much anything these days. I’ve been doing my part where I can and for the most part, I feel like I live in a space that’s free of any harmful particles and excessive dust thanks to the Dyson Pure Cool HEPA Air Purifier and Fan.
Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean Changes the Game
Today, Dyson has launched the new V15 Detect Total Clean, a brand new vacuum that enhances cleaning your home by showing where the dirty spots are then telling you what kind of dirt and particles the device collected. The latest vacuum from Dyson does more than just make your living room a nightclub due to the illuminating light, the included laser helps the user understand missed dirt on the floor.
Dyson’s latest cordless vacuum cleaner is shaping up nicely, I have an older model and have had a few friends and family purchase Dyson’s for their homes and each time I ask what they think, the reaction is priceless. From the V8 model I own to the more recent Dyson V11 Absolute I’ve tried at my friend’s house, each iteration is a big improvement over the previous model.
For example, the Acoustic Dust Sensing technology sounds like a gimmick but if you’ve ever been in a home where dust prevails no matter how clean you are or how often you dust, the Dust Sensing technology is here to measure microscopic dust particles in your home and displays both the size and the number on the device’s LCD screen. The piezo sensor is then able to automatically increase suction power across different floors and dust amounts.
How does Dyson categorize micrometres? With most products, this is broken down into four categories, beginning with the smallest items and going upwards.
- 10 μm for particles the size of allergens and pollen
- 60 μm for particles the size of microscopic dust and skin flakes
- 180 μm for particles the size of dust mites and fine sand
- 500 μm for particles the size of sugar and fleas
With Dyson’s Hyperdymium Motor spinning at 125,000 RPM, you’ll find the strongest suction on any Dyson vacuum to date and with the advanced seven-cell battery powering the V15, you get up to 60 minutes of cleaning in your home. You can pick up battery packs for your vacuum that adds an additional 120 minutes of cleaning, you’ll be able to do quite a bit in that amount of time.
The Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean is available in Dyson Demo Stores in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary and online at DysonCanada.ca for $949.99. You can also pick up the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute for $1,099 or the Dyson Outsize Absolute for $1,199.
