Dyson, the world famous brand, and tech innovator are doing away with plug-in vacuum cleaners to focus on the future: cordless battery operated machines that will make our lives easier.
Today, Sir James Dyson, the founder of Dyson, announced the halting on the production of any and all corded vacuums, as he introduced the future of household cleaning with the Dyson Cyclone V10.
The Dyson Cyclone V10 is the most powerful vacuum made by the company with the most powerful motor to date, and with a 20% increase in suction, and weights nearly half the weight of the previous model, the Cyclone V8.
Another benefit involved the engineers at Dyson managing to provide a full hour of power with a dense, light-weight battery pack that lasts up to 60 minutes.
Lastly, the bin, which I find to always full up faster than I can empty it, is now 40% bigger, so you can clean longer as Dyson has redesigned the bin for more efficient airflow.
My favorite announcement from Dyson’s reveal today, however, is all-new Dyson Pure Cool HEPA Air Purifier and Fan. Everybody has an abundance of dust lying around, it’s hard to prevent unless you install a full HEPA system at the furnace. With Dyson, you can beat the system in a sense, by getting the HEPA Air Purifier. The unit can “detects and reports the ultra-fine particulate matter, allergens like pollen, mold, dust, pet dander, and Volatile Organic Compounds such as Formaldehyde and Benzene.” This can lead to unsanitary living conditions, effectively making your living quarters health hazard unless you clean often.
The new filter on also capture 99.97% of particulate matter and gases as small as 0.3 microns with 60% more HEPA medium than the previous generation, and also includes dual-functionality with two airflow modes: a forward airflow mode that cools you with purified air, and backward airflow mode that acts as a purification-only mode.
I’m convinced everyone needs cleaner air, we breathe in the recycled air constantly, so why not battle that with a purifier? Dyson is looking to innovate and help families live a cleaner lifestyle, with that in mind, I can’t stress the importance of this either, it’s necessary to sleep and live comfortably.
