Media Molecule held a live stream today to show off more of their upcoming, highly anticipated game, Dreams. In addition to showing off more of the game, which allows players to create their own worlds and games, allows users to share their creations with the world. It is an exciting project from the creators of LittleBigPlanet, and the biggest takeaway from today’s stream is that those who signed up for the studio’s newletter get first dibs. However, if you’re selected you’ll need to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Beginning tomorrow, December 19, and runs until January 21 – for those who already were signed up for the newletter. If you weren’t you’ll have to wait until sometime early next year as the general beta begin to go out on January 8, 2019.
There still isn’t a release date for Dreams, it’s been a long process for the developers to get where they area and releasing a product before it’s done isn’t good for anyone. By taking their time, this is the right step for the studio.
