Square Enix revealed a first look this week during Jump Festa 2019 at Dragon Quest XI S, the Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Expect is at some point next year but for now, enjoy this trailer which gives us a look at the cinematics in the game.
Honestly I expected the game to look far worse. Instead, it lost some shine more than anything and a drop in textures. But I’d gladly trade those for a handheld RPG like this. It’s fantastic and features some of the best the series has to offer players. With over a hundred hours on the clock on my save file, I’m eager to start all over if it means I can play while I’m on the go.
