The idea being Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale seems to come at the most predictable time – during a global pandemic. From the trailer, we see the main character, Tris, suffers from depression and it’s about trying to find success in life and learning to deal with mental illness. Four years after suffering a mental breakdown, he is now full of anxiety.
The game is currently available on Steam and stars the developer as the main character, as Tris, you’ll delve into his mind and face your inner demons as you look to get better. Don’t Give Up is described as a comedic-RPG with real-time battles and a town full of “arcades, clubs, burger joints, and overrated coffee.” Sounds about right.
