With D23 set to happen next month, what better time to showcase some of the games third and first-party developers are working on? That’s where the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase comes in, which is set to air on September 9 at 4 PM ET.
The event will shine the spotlight on new games from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games. This is in addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media and Amy Henning.
Additionally, we know that Disney-owned properties including the Bethesda-developer Indiana Jones title, Ubisoft Massive’s untitled Star Wars game, Respawn’s game, and Quantic Dream‘s Star Wars Eclipse are all in the works alongside the rumoured Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game that is facing internal issues.
We also have Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine currently being worked on with both games from Insomniac promising a darker, more mature tone.
