Last month, we reported that Disney had shuttered the Disney Infinity project and were closing up the studio behind the series as well.
Since that article was posted, we’ve seen some of the ideas that were going to be implemented in future games and updates. Ranging from Doctor Strange to Spider-Gwen, there was going to be a flavour for everyone to choose from and enjoy.
The most recent? A Moana playset was in the works, and boy did it sound appealing. Playsets are essentially games within Disney Infinity, they include a series of figures and everything you could expect from a video games including cutscenes, music and a story mode.
A source close to the shuttered project shared some images and an idea of what the figures would have looked like had the project not been closed. Kotaku has shared these images and it looks like it would have been a reason at least for myself to jump back in. It looks great but it’s far too late now.
