The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences announced the life of finalists today for the annual DICE Awards. Intotal, we have 61 games nominated with Santa Monica Studios’ God of War Ragnarök nominated for 12 categories.
The DICE Awards will be held on February 23 as the DICE Summit concludes in Los Vegas. Voting begins today for those part of the Academy to choose the winners.
There are a lot of great categories to get through and I’ve included the full list of nominees below. Some categories include Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game and Outstanding Achievement in Character alongside familiar categories we saw at The Game Awards in December.
There’s also Game of the Year up for grabs with the category featuring some incredible games up for nomination. Of course, Console Creatures voted and tabulated the team’s picks with God of War Ragnarök being our pick for 2023.
