Revealed at BlizzCon today, Blizzard Entertainment is ready to move on to Diablo V.
There’s a short story blurb, and it hints at where the next game is set to go:
For three decades, Sanctuary has stood on the edge of oblivion, and we’ve managed to push the darkness back… until now. The next era of Diablo is now in development.
Revealed during the BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony, Diablo V takes players into a Sanctuary that has fallen. The heroes are gone, and Diablo has won.
A BlizzCon panel can be streamed on YouTube or Twitch, detailing the vision behind the fallen world.
