It’s almost time for Hot Volvy Summer,
That’s right! Devolver Digital‘s less-famous-than-Crash vole of a mascot is back, and he’s taking over the publisher’s 2023 Summer Game Fest Showcase.
The show promises new game announcements, playable demos, a host of other surprises and the long-awaited return, reboot and rebirth of Volvy. I didn’t even realize he was gone!
You might remember Volvy from his smash indie hits from the past 30 in Field Run, Hotline Miami, Enter the Gungeon, GRIS, My Friend Pedro, Ape Out, Pikuniku and Cult of the Lamb. Volvy has become a mainstay in indie gaming mostly because… well, he doesn’t exist, and he never has.
But he will for an evening when Devolver Digital hosts their 2023 Summer Game Fest Showcase on June 8th at 6 p.m.
