Cygames revealed CygamesEdge today, a new publishing label dedicated to empowering small and mid-sized teams. Its first game is called Where Seeds Fall.
CygamesEdge’s tagline, “Stay on the Edge,” signals the publisher’s intent to champion innovative titles built on strong core mechanics.
The company has three core values:

We also learned that Where Seeds Fall is a new game launching under the banner next year.
It is a game where the protagonist must descend the branches of the World Tree, or humanity’s last refuge from a blight. As humans have moved to live in the trees, they fear the Fell Children, who are seen as omens of disaster. After an encounter with one, a soldier decides he must escort them to the surface.
Where the Seeds Fall has you navigating a crumbling landscape while facing the elements. And the World Tree features buds you can throw to land on flowers to absorb your impact from a deadly fall.
Exploring the World Tree means you’ll learn more about the Fell Child and what the truth is. Completing the game takes around 3 hours, and after clearing the main story, continue challenging yourself with higher-difficulty maps and a time trial mode.
Where the Seeds Fall launches on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 6, 2026.
