CD Projekt Red was at the Xbox Games Showcase and announced Cyberpunk 2077‘s upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, which will launch on September 26th. Check it out in the brand-new trailer.
The expansion is set to be a meaty $29.99 expansion for the 2020 game, which is described as a “spy-thriller” as protagonist V and Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand. But also another Hollywood actor, Idris Elba making his debut as FIA Agent, Solomon Reed. Players will find themselves in the new Night City district, Pacifica Combat Zone, aka Dog City, alongside a sleuth of new additions, including story mission, characters, skills, weapons, and more.
Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion is set to launch on September 26th for PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X|S, the expansion won’t be available to PS4 and Xbox One players as this expansion is a new gen console experience.
