Square Enix is banking on making 2022 their year with over a dozen high-profile releases between September and December. One game, in particular, stands out among the bunch — Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion.
A remaster of the original PlayStation Portable title, today also marks the 15th anniversary of the game. To celebrate, Square Enix revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct that Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion will launch on December 13, 2022.
Reunion features upgrades graphics and redone voice work to tie into Final Fantasy VII Remake and follows Zack Fair, a young SOLDIER operative and key figure within the Final Fantasy VII lore. Not only is the game getting a makeover but so is the battle system to fall in line with the newest iteration, Remake.
Additional platforms include PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and PC.
