From developer Spry Fox and publisher The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild comes Cozy Grove. The game is far too cute and the trailer has done an excellent job at getting me invested in trying this out. I’m certainly getting some Animal Crossing: New Horizons vibes from the trailer and I dig it.
The game takes place on a haunted island where you’re camping and as the Spirit Scout, your job is to explore and discover hidden secrets around the island and helping the local haunts with their issues. “Each ghost you meet has their own needs, but it’s not just the afterlife you have to worry about!” says the press release.
In addition to helping the local ghosts, you’ll also be helping the local residents who are on their own adventures. You can cook, fish, and camp alongside the residents, too.
Cozy Grove will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2021.
