Tencent‘s subsidiary Lightspeed Studios has revealed Code: To Jin Yong, a new project being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
According to a press release that was sent out as part of the media conglomerate’s SPARK 2022 annual conference, the open-world game is influenced by wuxia novels and stars the legendary heroes of the Jin Yong wuxia world.
“Our first Unreal Engine 5 game is coming! Code: To Jin Yong is adapted from the acclaimed series of martial arts novels by famed novelist Jin Yong,” says Lightspeed Studios. “As the first Unreal Engine 5 open-world game starring the legendary heroes of the Jin Yong pugilistic world, Code: To Jin Yong will be released to players around the world in the near future. Players can look forward to freely exploring the vast and grand world of martial arts. Keep an eye out for the launch!”
No consoles were announced today but it looks like Lightspeed Studios is aiming for current-gen and PC.
