SHUEISHA GAMES Co., Ltd. are asking us all to pause time for just over a moment of our day and take in a new trailer for their upcoming hand-drawn action-adventure game, Chronoscript: The Endless End.
On display is the “Age of Discovery” stage of Chronoscript: The Endless End, one that captures the human spirt for adventure and knowledge, where we see the knight of words known as The Editor attempt to traverse pages of a yet unfinished manuscript. Along the way, they confront Cursed Remnants, figures who once shaped history but now return in distorted forms, while uncovering fragments of a story that spans centuries.
This is just one of several hand-drawn stages that make up a storybook of thousands of pages based on thousands of years of human history. Chronoscript: The Endless End unfolds as a 2D side-scroller set within the walls of its writer’s very 3d mansion. In order to escape, The Editor will have to right all the wrongs.
Chronoscript: The Endless End will be available to thumb through later this year. It is currently available to wishlist on PlayStation and Steam.
