Chrono Odyssey Reveals Big Changes to Highly Anticipated MMORPG

Chrono Studio is announcing a suite of major quality-of-life updates for the upcoming MMORPG, Chrono Odyssey, ahead of the next testing phase.

Quality-of-life improvements the community has been asking for are on the way, including improved server stability during large-scale world events.

UI tweaks include compass height indicators to help navigate cliffsides and caves. While dungeons now show what’s discovered and undiscovered at a glance, your quest markers appear on your map.

There are also three new game systems — The Matrix System, The Supporter System, and Monster Equipment.

The Matrix System is unique to each weapon and replaces the existing linear pathing system with a branching node system that emphasizes combat specialization. You’ll be able to master each unique specialization and further shape how you fight by utilizing stat allocation, passive skills, and gear attributes.

The Support System is available from the very first Chrono Gate. This system will introduce new challenges to be tackled with an NPC supporter, intended to smooth out difficulty spikes without disrupting open-world exploration.

Finally, Monster Equipment brings powerful weapons and armour that mirror the appearance and traits of the world’s monsters. You’ll be able to get this equipment through world boss hunts, crafting, and quest completions. There’s lore attached to the equipment that will help deepen the story on offer.

Chrono Odyssey is currently in development. You can wishlist it on Steam now.
