Square Enix released the opening movie for their upcoming game from Yuji Naka. Balan Wonderworld was revealed earlier this year and has been a highlight ever since it’s reveal for me.
The movie sets the stage for the game’s story as it features protagonists Leo Craig and Emma Cole entering a theater and meeting the mysterious maestro Balan, who draws them into the magical universe of Wonderworld.
As you explore Wonderworld, you’ll explore a multitude of unique areas and collect 80 costumers to help you on your journey. Each costume offers special powers to the wearer, like the Rail Runner which allows you to summon train tracks to certain areas to get across long distances.
Balan Wonderworld launches March 26, 2021 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
