Chained Echoes has been on my radar for a while now and the Deck13 published indie RPG finally has a release date.
After several years of development, Matthias Linda is ready for players to experience Chained Echoes. It is an ode to the RPGs found on SNES and the PS1 era.
Players will be exploring the continent of Valandis, currently experiencing an age of peace after years of war. Given that things cannot stay good for too long, already a new war threatens to break the current treaty of peace.
Described as fantasy meets steampunk, Chained Echoes is a world filled with creatures, several nations, and deep lore. Players can expect an estimated 40-hour campaign which uses an overdrive combat system which features fast-paced battles and depth.
Chained Echoes will also receive a physical release in summer 2023 and is now available for pre-order. Head to First Press Games‘ site for your physical edition. Chained Echoes launches on December 8 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game will also be available through Xbox Game Pass for PC, consoles and the Cloud on day one.
