With the news that 3 million V’s have already accepted a trip to Dogtown in the new Phantom Liberty DLC, and legendary anime production house Studio Trigger’s stellar Cyberpunk: Edgerunners just celebrating a year, the Polish game developer inspired interest in the long-running table-top RPG series once again.
So what comes next? The answer is a live-action show.
Riding shotgun in the Areondight for this project is Anonymous Content — the studio behind smash shows True Detective and Mr. Robot — the latter of which proves they know how to handle the cyberpunk genre.
According to CDPR, the new project is in early development, searching for a screenwriter to tell a brand-new story set in Cyberpunk 2077.
