Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Drops New Trailer

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse dropped a new trailer during The Triple-i Initiative Showcase that took place today.

Coming from Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia developers Evil Empire and published by Konami, the latest iteration of the historic franchise celebrates the 40th anniversary of Castlevania.

The new trailer shows off plenty of smooth and frantic action, detailing more about the setting – Paris, 1499. The game is set in 1499 Paris, a city where monstrous creatures suddenly emerge from the shadows. With the holy whip, the Vampire Killer, Trevor Belmont’s successor, heads into Paris to take on the beasts plaguing the streets.

The Vampire Killer is integral to gameplay, allowing you to move by swinging from it like a trapeze artist. Konami says you’ll see new weapons and abilities, including a sword, with more to be shown in the future.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set for launch on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2026.
