Now, the global tech accessory company is looking at anime studio Khara to work on a Neon Genesis Evangelion collab, amusingly titled “PROJECT CSTF: PROTECTION from IMPACT, ” featuring iconic imagery and scenes from the anime. From phone and tablet cases to watch straps featuring the likes of Sachiel, Rei, Shinji, and Asuka, and also Evangelion Unit-01 AirPods Pro 1/2 case($120) and one of the most fantastic looking stands for your phone, the Evangelion Charging Dock($120 with wireless charger).
The launch is pricey, but I like their products after using a Casetify case exclusively for the last 14 months. The quality is there, and I’ve had some nasty tumbles with my phone that barely took the brunt of the drop, thanks to the case I had on at the time.
If you’re in Japan this month, an outdoor installation will be held at Shinjuku Kabukicho Cinecity Square from July 20 to July 25. The installation will be held from 11 AM to 7 PM local time. Exhibition hours will differ on the following days: Thursday, July 20, 4 PM to 7 PM, and Tuesday, July 25, 11 AM to 3 PM.
