To close out the Xbox Games Showcase, Phil Spencer announced a new Xbox Series S model is launching this September, and it’ll come in Carbon Black.
Since its launch in 2020, the Xbox Series S came in white with 512GB of internal storage. In 2023, video games have only gotten larger. Now, a bigger hard drive is necessary to enjoy the games arriving throughout the rest of the year and into the foreseeable future.
The Carbon Black Xbox Series S has 1TB of internal storage and a matching controller to combat that. In Canada, it’ll retail for $449 and will be available starting September 1, 2023.
