It’s officially fall. We entered the new season last weekend and that means it’s officially the busy season for the gaming industry. How do we know? Well, you have big games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, and, Call of Duty Black Ops 4.
Coming off last year’s fantastic Call of Duty: WW2, I was genuinely curious to see how Activision and Treyarch would fair against their previous title. After spending a ton of time in multiplayer as well as the superb Blackout Mode, I am happy to say I really can’t wait to play the full game when it launched next month.
There’s enough change to the formula that everything feels fresh, and I don’t miss the double jump at all. Gameplay is crisp and tight and visuals are some of the series’ best.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 arrives on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One October 12.
