Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Launches In September

Team Reptile’s Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is launching on September 1, 2021. The spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio will also launch on Switch and PC on August 18.

In a world from the mind of Dion Koster, where self-styled crews are equipped with personal boost packs, new heights of graffiti are reached. Start your cypher and dance, paint, trick, face off with the cops, and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in an alternate future set to the musical brainwaves of Hideki Naganuma.

You can choose from a series of characters in your crew and explore the streets freely. The goal is to get your name out with every neighbourhood filled with spots to paint graffiti. Earning a rep will allow you to challenge the local crews for territory. You can also use a trick system to grind, slide, wall run, and more.

The boostpack allows you to hit some serious heights too, so if you want to hit a graffiti spot, you can activate graffiti mode and be suspended in mid-air. Tricks can be strung together with graffiti to increase combo scores. Landing a combo will boost your power; stylish combos will give you more power to hit high speeds.

Bomc Rush Cyberfunk launches on Switch and PC on August 18, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on September 1.
