Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Announced

A Jet Set Radio Successor?

Team Reptile has announced Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a game that resembles one of my favourite games, Jet Set Radio.

In a world from the mind of Dion Koster, where self-styled crews are equipped with personal boost packs, new heights of graffiti are reached. Start your own cypher and dance, paint, trick, face off with the cops, and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in an alternate future set to the musical brainwaves of Hideki Naganuma.

According to a press release for the game, you can choose a character and freely explore the world. Each stage is a neighbourhood that represents one time of day and you can grind, slide, jump, trick and airdash to move around. What’s the goal of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk? You need to get your name up, get your name on the wall and each stage has spots to graffiti. Expect a ton of weirdos around the city.

Bobby has been gaming since he was old enough to walk. Since then, the interest has only grown stronger, and here we are today. Follow Bobby on Twitter, and just go with it. @bpashalidis
