With winter just around the corner, the possibility of power outages due to heavy snow is likely. Just look at how bad last year’s snowfall was in Ontario – the province was effectively shut down for a few days, and some areas had snow and no power.
So, with that in mind, I’ve been adamant about having some fallback for situations like that where I need electricity but might not have power coming into my home. For the last few years, I’ve been using Bluetti’s products to make life a bit more manageable (whether for home improvement or for a beach day), and so far, I’ve been consistently impressed by how solid the company’s products are.
However, I’ve always wanted something a bit smaller, more portable than the already great power stations I’ve used.
Bluetti’s Elite 10 Is Small But Mighty
I’ve had the chance to use Bluetti’s latest portable power station, the Elite 10, a powerful and small power station that fits neatly into any setup. Shedding the bulk of a standard power station, the Elite 10 features big performance to power multiple devices with ease. At just 1.8 kg, the Bluetti Elite 10 is compact at just 200mm x 146mm x 110mm.

It includes a 128 Wh and 200 W AC outlet to meet your needs. It also has a 10 ms backup power switch to charge devices simultaneously and a 350W bypass. It can also power up to six devices at once, including five DC outlets and a 200W AC outlet, powering everything from your Steam Deck to a laptop.
The central selling point is portability, which makes taking the Elite 10 far easier than its siblings. It’s lightweight and easy to take with you on the go. The LCD on the front displays all you need to know about the device, including whether it is charging.

For its size, there are many ports, including two USB-A ports, one 100W USB-C port, one 15W USB-C port, a three-prong AC outlet, and a DC5521 port. Being able to charge devices simultaneously while on the go can mean a make-or-break for many, so having the capacity to be ready is a nice touch. I also want to mention how easy it is to pair with the Bluetti app on my phone. It takes just a moment, and once it’s synced, I can turn it on and off, receive notifications when the battery is low or topped up, and assign a charging mode (Turbo, Standard, or Silent). So if I needed a quick boost, Turbo can deliver faster than a regular charge. There’s even time control that can be enabled in the App, which puts a time-out on outlets.

ECO Mode allows you to shut off ports after a period of inactivity, and the Elite 10 also includes Power Lifting mode to deliver 400 W when needed at the cost of much quicker battery drain.
Furthermore, the inclusion of being not only a portable power station but also a UPS backup with just 10 ms response time is a massive boon for owners. You can use this device to power your home setup in a pinch and keep your files, consoles, and PC safe. Plus, there’s the included 350 W bypass, so you can still charge and power your devices without worry. Having that flexibility is worth noting, given how few people seem not to use a UPS at home.

When the Bluetti Elite 10 needs to be charged, you can have it topped out in just 70 minutes – almost seven times faster than other similar power stations. You can plug it in at home, use your car’s charger, or plug it directly into the Bluetti 60 W solar panels. In a pinch, you can even get upwards of 80 percent charge in just 45 minutes.
The Elite 10 also has three LED modes: cool white, warm glow, and emergency-ready SO. You can use it to read, while camping, or in situations where light isn’t readily available. Bluetti says you have upwards of 50 hours of light if needed.
For someone with many devices at home, having the option to route them through the Elite 30 V2 gives me a lot of freedom when power is scarce, and I can charge my devices with peace of mind.

Pairing with the Bluetti app on my phone is a cinch. It takes just a moment, and once it’s synced, I can turn my Elite 10 on and off, receive notifications when the battery is low or topped up, and assign a charging mode (Turbo, Standard, or Silent). So if I needed a quick boost, Turbo can deliver faster than a regular charge. There’s even time control that can be enabled in the App, which puts a time-out on outlets.
Verdict
The Bluetti Elite 10 is small and mighty, and the sweet middle ground for anyone in need of a boost. Everyone should own a portable power station, but they can be bulky. The Elite 10 does away with size, packs a respectable amount of power, boasts six ports, supports up to 150W AC charging, can be used with solar panels, and charges to 100% in just 70 minutes.
