Bleak Faith: Forsaken from Archangel Studios is set to launch on PC via Steam and GOG on March 10, 2023, the developers confirmed today.
Described as a ‘brutal action RPG,’ Bleak Faith: Forsaken is the Omnistructure, a land where creatures and their overlords will push you beyond your limits. The interconnected world was designed and caters to all sorts of playstyles with a focus on positioning, timing, and resource management to ensure your survival.
From the trailer, we can see the inspiration the team is pulling from the Souls series between the shadowy, handcrafted world in addition to the brutal combat. I’m all for more games giving us a world where there are several ways to maneuver the environment and from the sounds of it, the Omnistructure seems to offer that (it’s in the name).
There also seem to be hundreds of unique weapons and equipment to discover. Some of you may find solace in adding complete sets to your armoury and quite frankly, I know I enjoy finding and assembling the right armour for the job.
Bleak Faith: Forsaken began as a Kickstarter in 2019, before seeing the project delayed to the Covid-19 pandemic. While Kickstarter mentions there will be ports for Xbox One and PS4, only the PC versions are moving forward next month.
