PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Black Ops III owners will be sad to learn that “Awakening”, the first map pack available next year, will not be heading to their consoles. The $15 pack is only getting a release on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, and includes four maps (Skyjacked, Rise, Splash, and Gauntlet) and the first of four chapters of a brand new co-op zombies campaign!
For some, this doesn’t come as a surprise, since the campaign mode was cut out completely from the older console versions, and only included Zombies and the multiplayer.
There is also no word yet if a PC version of “Awakening” is being released, but the map pack will be available February 2nd for PlayStation 4, and at a later date for the Xbox One.
