The weeks leading up to launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda, as well as immediately after have been tumultuous for BioWare, as there were a number of issues the next game in the Mass Effect series that fans of the series were well aware of.
The animations for Andromeda were lauded, many ridiculing the developer for what the final game represented as a whole.
Now, it seems, BioWare has plans to right the issues of Mass Effect: Andromeda starting on this coming Thursday with patch 1.05.

Streaming and stability improvements
As for what’s to follow after the above patch is released on Thursday? BioWare teased major updates to both single player and multiplayer in the near future. It really looks like BioWare has taken heed of feedback given to them and begun the process to get things in order. In the meantime, I’ll wait until the game is patched up and ready to be consumed at a later date!
Over the next two months we’ll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:
- More options and variety in the character creator
- Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
- Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
- Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
- Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams
These upcoming patches will also address performance and stability issues. And we’re looking at adding more cosmetic items to single player for free.
