Beats Reveals The Powerbeats Fit

Beats revealed the latest update to the Beats Fit Pro earbuds line today: the Powerbeats Fit, which adds enhanced durability and improved in-ear comfort with a redesigned wingtip.

According to Beats, the newly redesigned wingtips are the result of years of research and tuck into the ear to provide all-day comfort.

“Reintroducing Beats Fit Pro as Powerbeats Fit — alongside Powerbeats Pro 2 — unifies our lineup under a name synonymous with athletic performance and gives customers a clearer choice between two distinct, fitness-first form factors,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats. “Powerbeats Fit combines the best of Beats Fit Pro with next-level comfort, durability, and portability—making it a worthy addition to the Powerbeats family.”

The Powerbeats Fit are sweat-resistant with an IPX4 rating, durable enough to withstand intense workouts in rain, snow, or heat (we’re in Canada, after all!).

To ensure the earbuds feel comfortable, the Powerbeats Fit features four ear tip sizes to accommodate different ear shapes and sizes, including extra-small, small, medium, and large.

With an ergonomic design, the shape of the earbud provides a custom acoustic platform and proprietary drivers to deliver a balanced sound. There’s also personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, providing an immersive sound experience for music, movies, and games.

Additionally, the EQ tailors the sound based on the earbuds’ individual fit and seal, and utilizes enhancement microphones to measure what you’re hearing, adjusting the audio output to match the ear profile. There’s also Active Noise Cancelling to block external noise, while Transparency mode keeps users connected to their surroundings.

The Powerbeats Fit utilize an Apple H1 chip, enabling them to make calls and participate in FaceTime conversations with Spatial Audio (featuring Dolby Atmos and Siri). The H1 chip enables switching between devices, Audio sharing, hands-free ‘Hey Siri,’ Find My, and more. Android users can use the Beats App for one-touch pairing, customizable controls, battery status, and more.

Apple claims that the Powerbeats Fit offers up to 30 hours of battery life with the charging case, and each bud provides up to seven hours of playback per charge.

The redesigned charging case is 17% smaller than the Beats Fit Pro and is also sweat and water-resistant with an IPX4 rating.

Powerbeats Fit is available to order starting Sep 30 in four stylish colours—Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink—for $249.95 CAD.
