After being pushed back by one month to November, Battlefield 2042‘s beta period was also pushed out from the rumoured September 22 start day. Today though, EA and DICE have revealed the new dates for the open beta and it’s coming up soon.
How do you get in? Well, the publisher says that the Battlefield 2042 beta begins at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET on October 8 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
EA Play members and pre-orders get a few extra days beginning on October 6, and everyone can begin pre-loading on October 5 to ensure they are ready for the launch.
The open beta contains Battlefield’s Conquest mode on the Orbital map shown in the trailer. You’ll have access to four Specialists in the beta: Webster Mackay, Maria Falck, Wikus ‘Casper’ Van, and Pyotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky.
Battlefield 2042 now launches on November 19, 2021.
