For EA, at least. It turns out that this year is the year of World War 1, as some 13.2 million people played the beta.
From August 30 when the beta went live, to September 8, when the beta ended, EA reports that there were 13.2 million people previewing the next Battlefield game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. In addition to that many people playing, there were 28.9 million melee kills, 13 million train kills, 23.8 road kills, and 62.2 horse kills.
This is now the biggest EA beta ever, and hopefully, this event helped DICE take some notes and work on creating what could be a very solid and competent game.
