Batman: Arkham Knight Gets Delayed, Again!

Today Rocksteady released a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight. The trailer opens with Batman meeting with Commissioner Gordon to discuss Scarecrow’s possible plan to release a chemical bomb in Gotham. After one of Batman’s signature exits, vanishing mid conversation, we see the Dark Knight himself jump into action in pursuit of Scarecrow. In this trailer fans also get an extended look at Batmobile combat but what got fans talking was the release date at the end of the trailer, June 23, 2015, letting fans know the project got delayed.

When the game was first announced Rocksteady set an October 2014 release date, which was pushed back to June 2 2015.  Now delayed for a second time Rocksteady has fans concerned, especially since the announcement is just a couple months out from the released date fans expected. Rocksteady released a statement,

We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Fan’s hope that the game won’t get delayed a second time, but in the meantime fans can drool over this amazing trailer. Have a look:
