PlayStation Plus subscribers gain access to both Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III for the month of September as both games join the free games as part of the subscription service offered by Sony.
I really liked Arkham Knight back when it launched in 2015, but some minor things left me a bit sour. Namely, as much as I enjoyed playing at Batman, I didn’t like the reliance on the Batmobile to get around even but mainly because some of the associated missions were dreadful. Arkham Knight closes out the series from Rocksteady and closes the chapter out on Batman from their studio.
Darksiders III felt like a step backwards for the series and left me unable to finish it due to how much I didn’t enjoy the changes brought on for the third entry in the Darksiders franchise. Even with additional changes from Gunfire Games, I had a hard time coming back but who knows, September is the start of a new season and change is good.
Both Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III will be available to download from PlayStation Store between September 3 and September 30.
