Last night, players from all across Canada converged at Cineplex Cinemas Vaughn to take place in the Gran Turismo Sport Canadian Championship Series national finals put and presented by PlayStation and Pfaff on by WorldGaming. Of course, only one gamer could walk away victorious.
That player was Barrie, Ontario’s own Andrew Waring. Waring took home the prestigious champion title, as well as nearly $60,000 in prizing. In total, Andrew received $8,000 in cash, a three day all expenses paid trip to Grand Prix in Long Beach, California, racing gear from Piloti, and body panels from a Porsche RSR race car!
