Warner Bros. Pictures and Mattel want you to look your best and ride in Barbie’s 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette in Forza Horizon 5. Xbox has revealed a themed Barbie Xbox Series S and an assortment of excellent Xbox controller designs.
With Greta Gerwig’s Barbie heading to theatres on July 21, we’re essentially in full marketing mode for the upcoming movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken. Enter crossover promotions like the one Xbox has going on right now. So for those who play Forza Horizon 5, I mentioned you could ride in a pretty snazzy pink Corvette and Ken’s 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup. Everyone who plays Forza Horizon 5 will be gifted these themed cars — you can grab them from your Message Center to be added to your garage.
The show’s real star is the DreamHouse-inspired Xbox Series S, which is sadly not for sale. And to add insult to injury, the Xbox Wireless Controller faceplates shown in the image above are not sold anywhere, so that you can look at them, but thinking you can own them is out of the question. However, if you want to try to win the console, fans can win this starting on July 10 on Xbox and Microsoft Rewards.
