Bandai Namco has confirmed its presence at Anime Expo 2023, releasing a statement indicating what attendees can expect from the publisher at the show.
“The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase panel returns this year, once again bringing together top anime game makers from Japan to deliver a barrage of news and reveals,” reveals Bandi Namco’s press release. “The panel will feature exciting developments for hotly anticipated games based on Naruto, Sand Land, Sword Art Online, Baten Kaitos, and more.”
Attendees will find show floor activities with themed booths bringing fans to their favourite anime worlds. Additionally, at the Bandai Namco booth 2300 and 2600, photo ops, swag, and hands-on demos will be available for the publisher’s upcoming slate of games.
Here are the show floor events happening:
- Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections(Booth #2600) – Enter a memorable recreation of Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto and be one of the first to play brand new characters in this hotly anticipated game that celebrates the anime’s 20th
- Sword Art Online Last Recollection (Booth #2300) – Experience the beginning of this alternate Sword Art Online adventure with Kirito and his friends in this new demo. Snag free swag and grab photo opportunities with Sword Art Online weapon replicas and cosplayers from Spiral Cats.
- One Piece Odyssey (Booth #2300) – Check out the opening moments and play as your favourite Straw Hat Crew in One Piece Odyssey, considered one of the best games based on this iconic anime series, and collect a free poster afterwards.
- Photo Ops – Anime Expo attendees can visit Booth #2300 for collectibles and photo opportunities themed around their favourite anime games, including Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster and Sword Art Online Last Recollection.
Bandai Namco is teasing “exciting announcements and game reveals,” plus the chance to meet some developers working on the announced projects.
Anime Expo will also be livestreamed via its official Twitch channel and runs from July 1 to 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
