Platinum Games seems to have got the message that February is just too jam-packed in terms of games to play. That’s part of why they’ve settled on March 3rd, 2022 for the launch of their latest adventure RPG title, Babylon’s Fall.
In Babylon’s Fall, players become a group of warriors known as the sentinels, bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins, and throw themselves into an odyssey to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which sleeps a great legacy.
It feels like Babylon’s Fall has been in closed beta for a very long time now and with some mixed thoughts and emotions. If I’m being honest with you, I’m a little burned out on slog-fest RPG looters intended to be played with a group or suffered through a solo tax. Also, I’m not sure if Square Enix is in my good books anymore or not… I’m also not exactly sure where my good book is?
Either way, a release date gives me a schedule to decide if I’m buying into Babylon’s Fall or not? Babylon’s Fall will also offer early access for pre-orders on the digital deluxe version beginning on February 28.
