It may be tough to think about the great year of games that is 2023 coming to an end. Thankfully, the turn of the calendar isn’t all bad. January means the beginning of another great speedrun charity event from Awesome Games Done Quick!
Glitch runs, speed runs, relay races, co-op runs, and more will be over a week of fun and fundraising. Games and runs being showcased include indies, retro games, and newer titles. Check out the full schedule with games like Tunic, F-Zero, Batman: Arkham City, Pikmin 4, Mega Man 3, Dark Souls, and Star Fox 64.
Not to worry, the speedrunning dog Shiba Inu will be back speedrunning with the 1985 NES platformer Gyromite! If you haven’t seen these fantastic pups, check it out below!
Awesome Games Done Quick has always been about the grassroots initiative to link great gaming with fundraising. This year is no exception, with all money raised going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
