At the Xbox Games Showcase, developer Obsidian showed off Avowed with a first look at gameplay with a release window slated for sometime next year.
The trailer itself showed off our first real look at the game in the world of Eora with a truly colourful palette in the explorable ecosystem known as “The Living Lands.” Combat meanwhile will be familiar to fans of Obsidian games as Avowed is set to offer a combination of first-person melee and magic (dual wielding too) in gameplay as players take on powerful monsters.
The upcoming game was first introduced back in 2020 and since then the game was been quiet but this new look was seemingly worth the wait. It won’t be too long as Avowed is set to launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2024.
