Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Atelier franchise, the developer is putting its focus on fan-favourite Reisaline Stout and her adventures. With her hometown of the Kurken Islands affected by the appearance of several mysterious islands, Reisalina(Ryza) alongside her friends must set out to find the truth regarding these mysterious islands.
The video above reveals gameplay changes being made when compared to Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. Combat has received an upgrade and five members of your party (out of a total of 11) can participate in the battles ahead. The new battle system includes the ability to speed up encounters with two party members leading the charge while three support from the rear. Equipping keys will be critical to your success and will activate in a pinch to strengthen a character or drop the wait time on actions.
Furthermore, keys are a component of crafting in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key’s synthesis system. You insert materials in the material ring and with the help of Ryza can craft new special items, then use a key to improve the recipe level. Ryza can also improve the number of creations, too!
With Link Morph, an ability Ryza uses to add certain effects to items, she can add super traits to make items even stronger.
