Koei Tecmo and Gust Studios have revealed some of the first details regarding Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg.
In a rather big update, we’ve learned that additional events will be made available to the player, a Photo Mode, and minigames. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg stars Marie, a struggling student at the Royal Academy of Magic whose only goal is to make an item to satisfy her mentor.
As a reimaging, players experience newly written material and additional events for a new scenario where players learn intimate details about Marie not shown in the original.
Koei Tecmo goes above and beyond, adding a Photo Mode to the mix so players can pose characters and add expressions to Marie and her friends. Pictures can also be personalized with stamps and other items, and you can head to the Hall of Memories for filters, frames, and camera angles.
Fans of minigames will be happy to learn six minigames are coming to Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, entirely remade for the remake. You can play Punipuni Hammer, Golden Salmon Search, Catch Those Rats, Apple Rush, Treasure Hunt, and Name Collector, and they can be accessed from the Extra menu with rewards available to those who play the minigames.
A Digital Deluxe Edition of Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg will be available soon. This edition includes the original game “Atelier Marie Plus: The Alchemist of Salburg,” the “Gust Extra BGM Pack,” and the “Another Look” Costume Set. Plus, a Digital Deluxe Upgrade Pack includes all the items except for the standard version of the game.
Two free DLCS will be available from July 13, including the 25 Glasses accessory and the Atelier Series Legacy BGM Pack.
Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg launches July 13, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC.
