ASTRO Gaming, known for its selection in gaming hardware and accessories is teaming up with premium San Francisco-based bag company Timbuk2. Together, the two companies are developing a collection of durable bags catering to players on the go.
The newly announced Timbuk2 x ASTRO Collection includes the BP35 Gaming Backpack, a bag designed for players who are travelling with their gear. Additionally, the collection includes the CS03 Crossbody Sling, a sling specifically designed for Nintendo Switch and mobile gaming.
Both bags feature multiple pockets and are made of heavy-duty fabrics. The Timbuk2 x ASTRO Collection is also water-resistant and includes organizational pouches, stretch mesh, and quick-attach anchor points, allowing players to secure and access their equipment easily.

When looking at the BP35 Gaming Backpack, Timbuk2 and ASTRO designed it to feature water-resistant fabrics and hardware designed to deliver long-lasting comfort. The shoulder straps are made of adjustable air mesh material, as is the sternum piece. It even features a ventilated EVA padded back panel, which will go a long way for longer treks.
Additionally, you’ll find two 16-inch laptop sleeves, a number of clamshell pockets, sleeves, and other organizational compartments. You’ll be able to store charging cables, styluses, and other necessities. The BP35 Gaming Backpack even has a vista loop designed to safely store your gaming headset when travelling. There are also pockets designed for storing your controllers such as the DualSense or Xbox Wireless Controller.
The CS03 Crossbody Sling features similar water-resistance fabrics and is designed for comfort, even during prolonged use. Being designed for Nintendo Switch users, the CS03 Crossbody Sling has 14 Switch cartridge storage slots so you don’t have to worry about whether or not to bring your copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons with you. Alternatively, the slots can be used to store SD cards or perhaps small USB storage devices.
Like the BP35, this bag contains a number of pockets and storage options for your gear. It features a customized padded pocket for your Nintendo Switch and features a brushed tricot liner to protect the screen. This pocket can also be used to house your mobile device. You’ll also find a daisy chain and D-ring on the front for quick attachments.
Both bags in the collection feature the unique Timbuk2 x ASTRO branding.
