Astra: Knights of Veda Announced, Will Be At Gamescom

Publisher HYBE IM and developer Flint are working on the 2D RPG Astra: Knights of Veda, which will be at Gamescom later this month. The publisher calls this project a “grand masterpiece” and is excited to bring it to the world.

Flint has over 120 developers working on Astra: Knights of Veda, with many developers previously employed at Nexon, NCSoft, and EA Korea.

“It is very meaningful in a sense that we get to introduce the strengths of Astra: Knights of Veda, such as solid and rich stories and unique action quality, to gamers around the world. Starting with participating at Gamescom, we will do our best to expand communication points with gamers both domestically and internationally and launch the game within this year. Please look forward to it.” says Kim Young-mo, Flint CEO.

Flint says there are over 200 cutscenes with over 1800 unique illustrations, and the campaign is fully-voiced. Considered a mashup of RPG and beat ’em ups, you’ll face beats of all sizes as you explore the world of Planis. Also, hidden treasures and the choice to engage in PvE and PvP through cooperative and competitive gameplay will keep you busy.
