The hits keep on coming it seems as Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s upcoming DLC, Wrath of the Druids won’t be releasing on April 29. It looks like our little detour to Ireland has to wait a bit longer but I’m all for it.
I’ve been aching to get new content for last year’s Valhalla, which has been a hit with critics and fans but also mired with bugs and game-breaking glitches. Ubisoft is working through patching said bugs and glitches six months on but as I’ve already sunk over 150 hours into the game; I was ready for the first expansion.
The first episode sees Eivor arrive in Ireland and take on the Children of Danu, a druidic cult that’s overtaken the island. Following this, the second planned expansion is called The Siege of Paris which follows Eivor to Francia, which at the time was ruled by Charles the Fat. As Eivor infiltrates the fortified city of Paris, you’ll uncover secrets and create new allies to protect your clan’s future.
Wrath of the Druids will now launch on May 13, 2021.
