Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Now Launching November 10
Microsoft’s broken the game of chicken that was being played with Sony. Today, we finally learned the pricing for both the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
On that note, it now seems like developers are beginning to shift release dates to meet the new dates of the Xbox Series of consoles. Ubisoft is first to shift a game’s release date from November 27, 2020, to November 10, 2020, a full two weeks ahead of schedule. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia the same day.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion will both be launch titles on the Xbox Series X/S at launch, with a PlayStation 5 edition to follow. Watch Dogs: Legion launches on October 29, 2020.
We are excited to announce that players will be able to discover Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected! We cannot wait to see the world we’ve been creating over the past 3 years coming to life on all platforms, including on the next generation of consoles with the Xbox Series X/S on November 10.” said Julien Laferrière, Producer on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Ubisoft confirmed that when Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launched on November 10, it will take full advantage of the hardware by offering full 4K and 60 FPS.
Both Ubisoft titles will take advantage of Smart Delivery and hardware-accelerated raytracing on the Xbox Series X/S. You can also use cross-generation saves for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
